Hailing from Moscow Russia, L’Homme Absurde play a captivating blend of post-black metal and metalcore that has been refined over multiple releases leading into their third LP, ‘Belong’ (Out Jan 17th). The band originally started as the solo project of A.S. and quickly evolved into a fully fledged live performance. Their name is in french and loosely means The Absurd Human/Man, it is taken from the philosophical work “The Myth of Sisyphus” by Albert Camus.
Molog are a duo from Melbourne Australia that combine the harshness of raw black metal with melancholic story telling, resulting in a large impactful sound. Not many people have heard this one and such is the nature of underground Australian black metal. It’s a different beast from many American and European acts we’ve become accustomed to. It’s not just raw for the sake of being raw, it has a strong audio thesis and will entice you in accompanying it on the harrowing journey that is Tri. The band is currently in the process of making a diverse and expressive follow up.
